The Role

As part of the Cast Iron QA team you will be working closely with the rest of the development team, both internally and externally, to produce the highest quality games on the latest gaming hardware to ensure our players have the best experience.

We’re looking for someone to join our growing team who is highly adaptable and willing to learn. You will have a passion for video games and take an active interest in the development process.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the rest of QA and other development teams

• Identify and enter bugs into the project database

• Follow test plans to cover multiple areas of the game

• Communicating the state of project areas throughout the development cycle to the rest of the team

• Supporting development teams as needs arise

• Becoming an expert on the game and features of your current project

• Technical knowledge of and experience using game engines to develop games (Particularly UE5)

What to Expect / Key Benefits

• Start your day any time between 8:00am and 10:00am

• 35 working hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break (with the opportunity to flex down to 30 minutes or up to 2 hours)

• 25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday

• 1 day leave for your birthday and 1 day leave if youʼre moving house

• Length of service increases are 1 day per year of service up to maximum of 8 additional days
